MEET CHERYL.
A student of life and the mind...
who speaks from her heart.
It's my mission to help you connect with your natural state of wellness through meditation, yoga, and energy healing practices. I want you to see that you are enough, just as you are.
Meditation has been part of Cheryl’s life for many years, but it wasn’t until 2014 that she found a daily meditation routine. Around that time, Cheryl experienced her own “dark night of the soul,” where her anxiety spiked and she began to deeply question and truly process the trauma she experienced during her childhood years. Cheryl experienced first-hand the power of meditation to overcome not only anxiety, stress, and difficulty, but as another powerful way to connect to her own self-awareness, happiness, and wisdom.

Cheryl’s life study began as a child. At the age of three, she almost died due to an infection of spinal meningitis. She still recalls this life-changing near-death experience. This had an immense impact on her life and how she showed up in it from a young age. She connected to that place of gratitude and compassion.
Cheryl continued to grow and witness life’s suffering as her heart cracked wide open as she observed her father struggle with depression and ultimately take his own life in 1994.

She later discovered that meditation, coupled with energy healing and yogic practices, connected her to a place of wholeness and healing. During this process, she also found more compassion and forgiveness for all that had transpired in her life and a connection to grace and inner peace. Her personal journey guided her back to the truest essence of herself. It also created a beautiful thirst for knowledge and desire to help others find their path and deep healing in this life.
Cheryl realizes her life has been her teacher and the imperfections are the gifts to help her guide others back home to their true nature.
A trained mindfulness facilitator, Cheryl completed both a Buddhist Immersion and mindfulness training with international author and teacher Lodro Rinzler. She also has studied mantra meditation and pranayama (breathwork) in yoga teacher trainings.

She is also a certified Reiki Master.

Cheryl is an RYT500 yoga instructor with over 700 supplemental hours of yoga therapy and yoga training. She has a true passion for teaching mindful vinyasa, gentle yoga, and yin.

Cheryl has a deep interest in the meridian lines and how they affect our subtle body. In 2018, she completed yin yoga online training with Bernie Clark through Yoga International. Cheryl completed level 1 yin training at Three Birds Yoga with Sarah Bodnar. In 2019, Cheryl decided to further her studies of Yin with Level 2 Training with Naomi P. Fox. Cheryl thoroughly believes in the healing and physical benefits of yin yoga. She has an ability to hold space for her students. This allows for the experience of sensations, introspection, and transformation. Cheryl is thrilled to share this unique fusion of yoga therapy and yin.

Cheryl is a former educator, mother of two children, and resides in northern New Jersey. She enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and singing.
